Langkawi Beach, Malaysia
Sailed to Langkawi from Penang on 21st Apr 2011 at 8:15 am. This shoot was captured on the following day late afternoon in Langkawi.
Langkawi is a resort island located at the north west of Malaysia. It can be reached by direct flight from Singapore and other several countries around this region. But we flew to Penang, which is also a small island belong to Malaysia at the north and from there we cross the strait to Langkawi. Probably the most beautiful spot in this region and for landscape and seascape photographers.
This is my second visit and the first visit was in 2006. Same location, same time, same shot and the environment is as beautiful as last 5 years. Nothing has been changed, but I am 5 years older. But again, I feel young when I am taking picture.

Woodlands Waterfront
Woodlands waterfront at the north of Singapore, a beautiful spot for landscape photographers to capture the sunset photography as well as the link bridge between Singapore and Malaysia.
There's a bus stop, service 856 along the main Admiralty Road West, from there walk ahead for 5 minutes and you will see a traffic light, then turn left to the waterfront. Service 856 starts form Woodlands regional bus interchange and exactly 11 stops to reach there, it takes about 20 minutes.
In the evenings, families and friends can enjoy the scenic view of the entire coastal park and experience a very wonderful evening breeze.
You may like to explore more of the seascape photography by clicking the title "Woodlands Waterfront" or here.

Singapore East Coast
Same as the previous post, this wasn't recent. It was actually taken in July 2009, quite some time ago, at the east coast beach of Singapore.
A great place to spend your weekend sitting under the coconut, casuarina or ketapang trees and feel the sea breeze gently caress your face while you unwind. It is considered Singapore’s play area, filled with activities, either on the beach or in the park where cycling and roller-bladding seems to be the hot sport among the young and old.
Chalets in East Coast is nowadays becoming famous and popular among younger generations. And it is very demanding for holiday chalets at the East Coast Park during schools holidays.
In the evenings, families and friends can enjoy for a barbecue or indulge in sumptuous cuisines at the East Coast Seafood Centre.

East coast Beach, Singapore
This wasn't recent. It was actually taken in July 2009, quite some time ago, at the east coast beach of Singapore.
It wasn't a sunny day, but fortunately I manage to get this one, the approaching wave, which almost wet my camera. Although I didn't have any bright blue sky the weather was quite clear and bright. I think this image is quite good as it shows a very clear and clean sandy beach as well as the foamy wave rolling down from the shore.
To avoid the dirt near the beach and people I walk further up as far as I can to get a beautiful, clean and clear spot. I made it.

Sunset at MacRitchie Reservoir Park
It is not only the spot for photographers but also for nature lover, family and friends gathering, kayaking and picnic especially on weekends. You will find it as if you are in deep jungle and feel like you are no longer in Singapore when you further move deep into the forest. You will no longer hear and sense the busy city. Strongly recommend to visit there at least twice a year if you are not happen to travel around the region. A good and suitable place to release all your stress. And do not forget to bring your camera.

Sunset at Sentosa Beach of Singapore
How to get the Sentosa island? It's easy.. The simplest way is by taking train of North-East line and alight at Habour Front Station. From there just straight up to 3rd level of ViVo City shopping mall, transfer to mono-rail, which is S$3(may vary) for return trip.
On the way to the beach, the mono rail will carry you to the very first station, Water Front Station, where you can take beautiful photos at Universal Studio. The next is Ambiah Station where the Merlion (Singapore logo) is there. And the last stop is Beach Station, where the beautiful Sentosa is awaiting visitors. You can alight and board the mono rail again and again from station to station without any additional fees.
The tram ride is free at the point of writing this post and it run for two directions, one is to Siloso beach and the other route is to the Tanjong beach. After alighting from mono rail, the tram at the right is to Siloso and to the left is to Tanjong beach.

Sentosa Beach Sunset, Singapore
Blog this image, (images of images) would probably be the last until the end of the calendar 2010.
Please search for me photovigor.blogspot.com, search with google to reach me for more images especially on landscape photography.
This is another Singapore landscape photography taken at Sentosa island. The coastline is marked by three lovely man-made beaches – Siloso Beach, Palawan Beach and Tanjong Beach. It is relatively save to swim around or involve any of water activities such as beach volleyball, beach soccer, cycling, rollerblading and kayaking.
Sentosa island is not only the hot spot for landscape photographers in Singapore but also favorite location for wedding couples and one of the most photographed sites. Search for website, there are many beautiful pictures taken around Singapore.

Singapore skyine
I deliberately underexposed it by setting the exposure 1/3 down. This produced a far more desirable result with various and deeper colors.
I enjoy nature photography as well as sunset, sunrise, landscape and night photography. Before sunset the gradually changing light make interesting and beautiful sky as the sun sinks into the horizon. Taking sunset pictures could be challenging but also very rewarding experience. But, guys, do remember, the sun never sinks into the horizon in Singapore but instead its disappears behind the high rises. :)
Hope you enjoy reading my post and your Constructive Comments Make my Photographs Better.

Singapore Skyline
Although this is not the most photographed site in Singapore I love the color, evening sky and beautifully reflected buildings by the setting sun .If you are not residing in Singapore, probably you wouldn't know or have seen such residential sites but rather you would see those beautiful sites like Singapore river, Singapore night scene or the very famous Singapore eye.
Hope you enjoy my photos.

Sunset at Langkawi Beach Resort
How to go to Langkawi..
Tourists can reach the island via ferry from Kuala Perlis or by flight from Kuala Lumpur or even from Singapore there is a direct flight(Malaysia Airlines). Air Asia provides budget connections to the island.
The Langkawi International Airport is one of the 7 international airports in Malaysia and connects the island to Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Penang, Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Phuket and also Subang. On the island, there is only one main road runs through the whole island, so you won't be lost. Rental cars and taxis are available in Langkawi with a very reasonable price. Taxis do not run on meter, but instead drivers charge a flat rate which is quite "standardized" from point to point. It would be better ask the taxi fare before you board.Langkawi Beach Resort
